Privacy isn’t an afterthought in Jatter—it’s built into every step of how it works.
When you visit a web page, Jatter securely processes the content to make it useful for AI. Page text is briefly sent to our servers for processing with zero data retention, meaning it’s never stored, logged, or used for training—only transformed in real time.
Once processed, the data is returned to your browser, where it’s encrypted on your device before being saved or synced. From that point forward, everything is protected with end-to-end encryption, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest—readable only by you. Even Jatter’s servers cannot access the contents of your stored data.
When you ask a question, Jatter may temporarily use relevant decrypted data to generate an answer. This happens securely and ephemerally, with zero retention and no training on your information. Your data is used only in the moment—then discarded.
After your response is delivered, your conversation is encrypted on your device, ensuring your chat history remains fully private and under your control.
With Jatter, your data works for you—and only you.
